Third Announcement available for download, printing

The third announcement of the next World Ophthalmology Congress, scheduled February 19 - 24, 2006 in São Paulo, Brazil, is available for download.

Although it is a very large PDF file (1.9MB), it can be used for printing copies of the announcement if you want to distribute them locally.

The announcement lists topics to be covered in the scientific program, as well as program coordinators, Congress committees and sponsoring and supporting societies.

ICO asks societies to link to next World Congress Web site

The International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) has requested that national, supranational and international ophthalmologic societies include a link on their society Web sites to the site of the next World Ophthalmology Congress, scheduled February 19 - 24, 2006 in São Paulo, Brazil, the week before Carnival.

The Congress Web site is at: http://www.ophthalmology2006.com.br. You can contact organizers at info@ophthalmology2006.com.br.

Societies are also asked to publicize the Congress to their members in other ways.

The Congress will be co-sponsored by the ICO, Pan-American Association of Ophthalmology and the Conselho Brasileiro de Oftalmologia.

To download a Congress logo to use for a link from your Web site, right click on the larger image above or the smaller one on the left, select "Save Picture As..." and save it on your computer.

(On a Macintosh computer, Control click on the logo and select "Download Image to Disk.")

Ophthalmologic societies are also encouraged to run advertisements for the World Ophthalmology Congress in their journals and other publications.

• half-page print ad (21 cm wide by 28 cm high): PDF version (928 KB) or .jpg (510 KB)
