The awards/ honors/ achievements are enlisted in chronological order.

1. In the Final Board Examinations for Higher Secondary Standard 12 for the year 2007, secured "Third highest rank" by merit in state of Puducherry and was honored and awarded by the State Government and other organizations like Chamber of Commerce, Puducherry.

2. I was also awarded the Best Science Student award for the year 2007 by the Government of Puducherry for securing highest marks in science subjects among the students of Puducherry in standard 12.

3. In JIPMER (Jawaharlal Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research), won several Gold medals for academic excellence which are:

a. Smt Nishamani Parija endowment prize and Gold Medal in Physiology
b. Dr. M.K. Ramanathan memorial prize Gold Medal in Bio chemistry
c. 21st Annual conference of Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists prize and Dr, Vijay Kumar Moorthy endowment prize in Pathology
d. Gold Medal in subject of Pharmacology
e. Indian Association of Dermatology, Venerology and Leprology medal for Dermatology
f. Mr.Ajay Mathews Memorial Prize for the Best student in First year MBBS

4. For research in under graduate level, was awarded coveted KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) research fellowship for the year 2009-10 under department of science and technology (DST), India and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. The same fellowship was continued from DST for continued research during the years 2010-11 and 2011-12.

5. Was involved as the primary investigator in two scientific researches viz. A) Effect of medial and lateral septal nuclear lesions on food intake and body weight regulations in albino rats (under the guidance of Prof. Dr. GK Pal, Professor and Head, Dept. of Physiology, JIPMER)

B) Analysis of CD34 counts and MVD (micro vessel density) in bone marrow aspirates of Aplastic anemia patients (under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Debdatta Basu, Professor, Dept. of Pathology, JIPMER).

6. The first work on Medial and lateral septal nucleus was recently published in IJCEP (International Journal of Clinical and Experimental Physiology) in the year 2015.

7. Was elected as the President of JSA (JIPMER Students Association) in the year 2010 and conducted various intra and inter college academic and extracurricular activities in the year 2010.

8. Selected as one of the "Elsevier Student Ambassadors of Asia" for the year 2014-15 for keen interest in research and student body co-ordination in the country.

9. Being a resident Ophthalmologist at AIIMS, Delhi, I have been one of the founders of YOSI which is the "Young Ophthalmologist Society of India" which is an online group with more than 1500 young ophthalmologists actively interacting to improve the understanding and practice of Ophthalmology.

10. As a part of YOSI, I have also been selected as an "Editor of the YO TIMES" which is a three monthly magazine of the YOSI. As an Editor, I have had opportunity to review a lot of articles and contribute personally as well at this young age. 11. Recipient of Dalai Lama scholarship award for International travel among residents of RP Centre, AIIMS for the year 2015.

12. Was selected to present my work on "Visual Disability in Juvenile Open Angle Glaucoma patients" in the International conference organized by ARVO in Denver, CO, USA held in May 2015.

13. Was selected in the top 100 level in Asia in the ALLERGAN QUIZ for the year 2016 and completed as a WINNER into the final top 6 category of the same quiz.
