Job Title:
Medical School:
Universidad de la Frontera
Residency Program:
Universidad de la Frontera
Temuco, Chile
Chilean Society of Ophthalmology

I did my primary and secondary studies at the Coelgio Bautista de Temuco, where I graduated in 2007, being the best graduate of my generation.
I entered the School of Medicine in 2008, at the Universidad de la Frontera. I graduated as a physician in 2014, where I obtained the best average grade of my generation and of the entire medical career.
In 2015 I was one of the 2 selected young doctors to enter the new training program for ophthalmologists at the Universidad de la Frontera, one of the few training programs in the country, which has a large practical base (both medical and surgical), and with a solid theoretical base supported by the "ophthalmologist training and improvement course of the Chilean Society of Ophthalmology". I graduated as an ophthalmologist in 2018 with the maximum qualification.
I currently dedicate a large part of my time to the public service, at the Hospital de Lautaro, Araucanía Region, Chile, wich is considered the poorest region of Chile. I also work in Clínica Oftamédica, where I belong to the cornea and refractive surgery departments.
I'm also postgraduate professor at the Universidad de la Frontera, teaching residents at the ophthalmology training program.
