I, Tamara Kardava, was born in Georgia in 1982, 2006 graduated from the Chelyabinsk State Medical Academy (medicine faculty). 2006-2008 - held a residency in ophthalmology at the base of the Ural state medical academy of additional education (Chelyabinsk). Since 2008 - I work as a doctor in the onco-ophthalmological center of the Chelyabinsk regional clinical cancer dispensary. In 2009 I made the science work of the Candidate of Medical Sciences - "Organsave treatment of large choroidal melanoma" (with preliminary radiomodification, transpupillary thermotherapy and follow brachytherapy). Since 2010 I work as a senior assistant of the ophthalmology chair of the Ural state medical academy of additional education. And also at the Department of Ophthalmology of the Ural state medical academy of additional education: in 2008 - I attended the training courses on onco-ophthalmology, ultrasonography in ophthalmology, laser surgery in ophthalmology. In the spring of 2010 I was trained by ocular oncology under the guidance of MD, professor, academician of the Russian Academy Medical Sciences - Brovkina A. F. in the Russian Medical Academy of Postgraduate Education, Moscow. I have been visiting ICO Fellow at Helsinki University Eye Hospital under the guidance of MD, professor Tero Kivelä, for three months from 1 May to 31 July, 2011. Then I returned to Georgia and nowadays I work at the PSP "NEW HOSPITALS" - clinic as an ophthalmologist, Ocular Oncologist.
