Josie serves as Director, Global Surgeon Training Programs for SightLife. Josie works with the world's leading cornea surgeons to develop training programs that build capacity and capability for cornea surgeons in the developing world.

Most recently, Josie served as the Director of Partnerships and Strategic Alliances for Global Impact. She worked with international development and global health non-profits to advance their work through partnerships with the private and philanthropic sectors. Prior to joining Global Impact, Josie was a Commitments Manager at the Clinton Global Initiative, where she managed the portfolio of international environment and energy commitments. Josie developed over 60 new partnerships and projects in the areas of agriculture, climate change, water, and women and girls. In addition to Josie's work at CGI, she previously worked in urban planning, corporate philanthropy, capacity building for non-profits, business to business and business to consumer marketing, and with nonprofits focused on teen empowerment.

Josie has also worked in Brazil, China, Kenya, and Jamaica as a consultant on international development projects and has served the National FFA Organization as a Student Leadership Trainer, traveling across the country facilitating leadership conferences for high school and college students.

Josie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Peace & Justice Studies from Wellesley College and Masters' Degrees in Public Administration and Urban Planning from the University of Southern California.
