Me graduate my MBBS from Sindh University in 1997/98. After Completing my one year house jobs in Medicine and Surgery at Civil Hospital Karachi, I appeared in FCPS Part 1 in 2000 and went for four year residency Program at department of Ophthalmology -Civil hospital Karachi. In 2004 I successfully get through Membership (MCPS) and Fellowship (FCPS) Examinations from College of Physician Surgeon Pakistan. I joined prevention and Control of Blindness Cell as Research Associate & Course co-ordinator for Ophthalmic Technician program (Equivalent to Assistant Professor) where my job responsibilities include, Teaching for under and Post graduate students, Ophthalmic technicians ,District Ophthalmologist. I was/am also Tutor for BSc Optometrist Course run by Allama Iqbal Open University at department of ophthalmology civil hospital Karachi. During my stay I actively participate in surgical camps and up to so for I did approximately more than 10000 cataract surgeries.
In 2005/6 I got common wealth scholarship award and went UK for my MSc and DCEH for community ophthalmology (Vision 2020) at LSHTM. After completing my MSc and Diploma I rejoined my parent department with same designation as mentioned above plus as a community ophthalmologist. I closely work with international NGOS like Fred hallows, SSI, Orbis international. During my stay I contributed my efforts for development of pediatric ophthalmology services, argon laser training program for diabetic retinopathy , phaco wet lab and curriculum development for BSc optometry at Dow University of Health Sciences.
In 2008 I joined Liaquat University of Health Sciences as Assistant Professor of Ophthalmology.
In 2011 I joined SMBBMC as Assistant Professor and in 2012 I promoted t o Associate Professor of Ophthalmology. Recently I pass my FRCS Glasgow 2014.
