Current Position- Nature of Duties:

 Under the current designation, I am the Head Of the Department of Ophthalmology in the 300 bedded multispecialty ESI Corporation Hospital located at Noida, Delhi NCR and totally responsible for the Running of the Department. I have 2 Medical Officers of Diploma/PG Grade under my supervision who assist me in all the activities of the Department.

 Running Out Patient Department (OPD) 4 Days/week with a average attendance of 150 patients daily.

 Running Afternoon Glaucoma, Lens, Cataract and Retina Clinics 2 Days/ week.
 Running Operation Theater (OT) 2 days/ week with an average of 30 major and Minor Surgeries a week.
 Undertaking Daily Ward Rounds for the pre and post operative care of the in-patients.
 Round the Clock Emergency Backup for the Ocular Emergencies and Trauma.
 Training the Medical Officers/Residents in Phacoemulsification and Retinal Surgeries and supervising and guiding them in all the activities of the Department.
 Supervising the regular maintenance and care of all the Ophthalmic Machinery in Operation Theater and OPD.
• Succesfully performing Phacoemulsification with foldable IOL's(Bausch&Lomb Soflex, Alcon Acreos, AMO Sensar, AMO Technis, Biocryl, Multifocal IOL's) under topical Anesthesia and peribulbar Anesthesia.
• Performing Micro Incision Cataract Surgery with ThinOptix Foldable IOL's.
• Performing Scleral Fixation Of IOL's in cases with abscent capsular support.
