The Conference for Ophthalmic Educators offers expert instruction, interactive workshops, and group discussion for ophthalmic educators. Educators of ophthalmology residents, fellows, medical students, CME, and allied health will learn about the latest tools and practice techniques of modern education.

The Conference for Ophthalmic Educators "Improving Teaching Effectiveness" will be held on October 18, 2014, from 2-5:30 PM during the American Academy of Ophthalmology's Annual Meeting in Chicago, Illinois, USA.

Whether you are a resident, or have taught for a long time, these sessions will help you improve your teaching effectiveness and provide an opportunity to connect with other educators from around the world. You will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of workshops and group discussions during the afternoon.

  • Attend: The Conference is open to all registered attendees of AAO 2014. No course passes are required for this session.
  • CME Credit: Categorized as a symposium of AAO 2014, the Conference can be claimed for CME credit as part of the 33 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™ designated to AAO 2014.
  • Location: McCormick Place, Room S104AB on Saturday, October 18, 2014 from 2:00–5:30 p.m.  This is one day prior to the start of the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Annual Meeting.
