Special strengths:
The Education Centre of LVPEI has been providing training in modern methods of eye care to all eye care professionals for the past 13 years. It has trained 64 long-term fellows and 80 short time fellows. It has aided 126 Microsurgery and 57 Phacoemulsifikation Programs to give the trainees hands-on-experience and has had 450 Observerships.
