The work of ICEH falls into three main areas:

Our work relates to the prevention and treatment of avoidable blindness. We support the goals of VISION 2020 - The Right to Sight.
Special strengths:
We offer an MSc course in Community Eye Health.
This course is designed to equip eye care professionals and planners with the knowlege and skills to implement the VISION 2020 programme, at country and district level.
The course is designed in keeping with the aims, priorities and strategies of VISION 2020 - The Right to Sight.
Regular teaching events:
Three-month Diploma Course in Community Eye Health, February to May
September - September. One year MSc course in Community Eye Health. Also available on a part-time basis over two years.
One week course in Planning for VISION 2020
14 week short course in Community Eye Health and VISION 2020
Three day short course in Tropical Ophthalmology
