L’Occitane Sight Award & ICO Symposium: Eye Care in Africa

ICO board member Volker Klauss was presented with the L’Occitane Sight Award and a prize of 50 000 € for his contributions in tropical ophthalmology at the ICO symposium "Eye Care in Subsaharan Africa. How can Europe help?" Presentations from the symposium are available for download.
The conference was part of the The European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) and the American Academy of Ophthalmology (AAO) 2011 Joint Congress on June 4-7 in Geneva, Switzerland.
