The Third Conference for Ophthalmic Educators will feature "New Techniques to Enhance Teaching & Learning," new presentations, plenary sessions and workshops.

New Techniques to Enhance Teaching & Learning
The Conference will be held at the Westin Chosun Busan, opening at 08:00, on Thursday, April 12, with plenary sessions that focus on assessment principles and tools to evaluate students’ medical knowledge and clinical skills, followed by workshops and special interest group meetings, and concluding at 18:00.
The Conference for Educators is organized and co-sponsored by the International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO), the Asia Pacific Academy of Ophthalmology (APAO) and the Korean Ophthalmological Society. It will precede the APAO Congress in Busan, April 13 through 16.
The Busan Conference for Ophthalmic Educators will offer:
- Short lectures with special focus on assessment principles and tools.
- Interactive, practical workshops on educational techniques including assessment tools and feedback methods with an opportunity for hands-on experience.
- Special interest group meetings of educators involved in teaching residents, subspecialists, medical students, allied personnel and in continuing medical education.
