WHO World Report on Vision - online survey for ideas and suggestions

Posted on July 13, 2017
Topic: Advocacy/Vision 2020

WHO is developing a World report on vision to describe the magnitude of vision loss, approaches to prevention, treatment and rehabilitation and make recommendations for action. This follows a request from Member states during a side event to the 70th World Health Assembly.

The WHO wants to hear ideas and suggestions on important topics the World report on vision should address as well as specific recommendations for action. Analysis from the survey will, where appropriate, feed into the proposed structure of the report. The survey will take approximately 10 to 15 minutes to complete and is available online until 23 July 2017. Unfortunately it will not be possible to respond to all suggestions, however a brief summary of key themes will be made available on our website.

You can find out more information about the report and access the survey here: http://www.who.int/blindness/vision-report/en/.
