Evaluate your residents’ interpersonal and communication skills, professionalism, and system-based practice with the new ICO 360-degree assessment tool published in the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology by Drs. Gabriela Palis, Karl Golnik, Eduardo Mayorga, Helena Filipe, and Prashant Garg.

The International Council of Ophthalmology 360-Degree Assessment Tool: Development and Validation” provides feedback to residents about their competence in these valuable “soft skills,” as viewed by the people with whom they interact, such as faculty, peers, allied ophthalmic personnel, and patients.

The ICO recommends 360-degree assessments for evaluations, and this is the first tool developed for ophthalmology residents that has received international content validation.
