ICO Ophthalmic Pathology Award Nominations Accepted Through 31 December 2020

The ICO Ophthalmic Pathology Award sponsored by the "Gottfried und Lieselotte Naumann-Stiftunge.V.", Erlangen, will be presented on the occasion of the 38th World Ophthalmology Congress (WOC2022).

The Award is intended to encourage scientists and researchers under 60 years of age working in the field of clinic-related ophthalmic pathology ("Ophthalmic Pathology, Imaging and Disease Mechanisms").

The Award is endowed with 20,000 US dollars and is presented every 4 years.

Following the Award Ceremony, the awardee will give the "Ophthalmic Pathology Award Lecture" at the World Ophthalmology Congress 2022.

The candidates are nominated by the scientific associations, personal applications are also possible.

The deadline for proposals and applications is 31 December 2020.

An international scientific advisory board will be convened and the awardee will be confirmed by the International Council of Ophthalmology.
