June 2, 2017 ICO Member ICO Sessions and Receptions at the 2017 SOE Congress

While in Barcelona June 10–13, 2017, for the European Society of Ophthalmology (SOE) Congress, join the ICO for two 90-minute sessions focused on ophthalmic education, a reception for ICO Members, a reception for ICO Examinations and Fellowships, and a reception for the ICO Ophthalmic Educators Group (ICO-OEG), which is open to everyone interested in ophthalmic education.

In addition to these events, the ICO is participating in a course with the World Health Organization, a symposium with the American Academy of Ophthalmology, and a symposium with the International Agency for the Prevention of Blindness. Learn more about these ICO-related sessions

October 5, 2017 ICO WORLD Meeting in New Orleans: Confronting Leadership Challenges One Conversation at a Time

Can you enhance your communication skills to better meet your goals? “Confronting Leadership Challenges One Conversation at a Time” will be the topic of a robust discussion at the ICO’s World Ophthalmology Roundtable on Leadership Development (WORLD) at the American Academy of Ophthalmology annual meeting in New Orleans, USA.

WORLD topics and speakers include: 

  • Leadership Happens One Conversation at a Time: Jon Rivas, Master Facilitator, Fierce Conversations, Inc. 
  • Specific Leadership Challenges in Ophthalmology: Dr. Liana Bruno, President, Fundação Altino Ventura, Brazil.

WORLD will take place at the Louisiana Ballroom, Loews Hotel on Saturday, 11 November from 12:00 to 13:45. A light lunch will be served at 11:30.
