The following presentations and background information were developed for the 2012 ICO World Ophthalmology Roundtable on Leadership Development (WORLD), November 10, 2012. The 2012 theme and central question was: How Can We Build A World Alliance for Sight?

The ICO's WORLD meetings bring leaders of ophthalmologic societies and educational institutions together to exchange information and ideas that will help them develop effective organizations and programs to enhance ophthalmic education and access to eye care.
